Paris Theme Magnets

Over the weekend I created a few sets of Parisian inspired marble magnets. I originally wanted a few just for me, but they're too cute not to share!

The magnets feature random French verbiage and a closer view of the beautiful details composing the gorgeous Cavallini print I used to line the envelopes to the left.

There are several sets of these magnets that will be up for sale on my Etsy shop by the end of this week.

Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in custom made magnet favors for your Parisian wedding!

Handmade Marble Magnets

I've had so much fun this weekend with my latest craft project - handmade marble magnets! They're so cute and much fun to make! Here's a sneak preview, but I'll be posting more images and packaging them for sale on my Etsy shop after Memorial Day weekend. I have a set of Parisian inspired magnets that would be the PERFECT wedding favor for a Parisian inspired wedding! I'm always glad to take custom orders, of course, but if you're looking for a cute and unique gift for yourself, your bridesmaids, a friend, sister or collegue, these cute handcrafted creations will make anyone's day!

Okay, I have to go now, we're getting ready for an evening of swimming, bbq, family and fun. Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Handcrafted mini-cards...tiny little treasures

As the days go by, the more conscious I grow about protecting our environment. I try to recycle as much as possible at home and my design studio. However, some of the paper I have in stock is just too cute and precious to throw into a recycle bin. So, how do I resolve this dilema? By transforming those adorable little paper scraps, and the paper I have had on the shelves for some time, into tiny little treasures...handcrafted gift enclosures!

These tiny little folded cards measure 3x3, are blank inside and are pre-arranged in sets of 4, now available purchase at PaisleyInParis.Etsy.com

You've got the Right Stamp, baby!

I recently had a client ask me how much postage her invitations would require. With the invitations not back from the printer yet, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a sample I could have weighed here in my studio, but the final product would include a thermography finish to the printing, so I didn't know how much more it would add to the final weight.

This scenario brought me to share a bit of advice when it comes to mailing your invitations. Before you purchase any postage, take one invitation to the post office, complete with inserts and everything as it will be mailed to your guests, and have it weighed so the clerk can confirm the amount of postage it will require. You can proceed to mail the invitation to yourself as a final test and once you receive it, feel free to purchase your wedding stamps or order any type of custom designed postage. I know a great designer who can help you with that, *wink-wink*. =)

By the way, postage went up to $0.44 a few days ago! Also, have you seen the new and VERY cute King and Queen of Hearts wedding stamps? The design is just way too adorable!

New Baby Announcements

Just thought I'd share a few designs that will be up for sale through my website in the next week or so. Adding a new section to my website featuring my new photo announcement designs will allow me the flexibility to offer a variety sizes and finishes, such as the use of luster or pearlized stock, amongst other services and features not available through my current gallery at BabyDio.com.

Peek at a Villa Royale Palm Springs Wedding

This weekend I had a chance to visit and take a few pictures of a wedding setup at the charming 30-room Villa Royale Inn. The resort is located near the heart of Palm Springs, and is available to accommodate small to medium sized events of up to 80 people.

Below: To the right is the view as you enter the area known as The Second Courtyard. The image to the left, is the hallway that leads you out of the Second Courtyard and into the lobby or the reception area, at their award-winning Europa restaurant, which offers indoor or outdoor seating.

Below: Setup for a poolside reception of 50 people. This view is from the hotel lobby towards the restaurant.

Below: The morning paper and coffee, as well as cookies and afternoon tea are a complimentary treat for all Villa Royale guests in this area.

This weekend, however, appetizers were served at the Lanai during the cocktail reception, prior to the sit-down dinner.

For information on wedding packages you can visit their website at VillaRoyale.com
