4th Annual Bridal Expo at Morongo

We were out all day on Sunday, exhibiting at the 4th Annual Bridal Expo at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa which is organized by Kiss the Bride Productions. The show went very well. It was held at a great location, there was a fashion show, door prizes, contests, and I had an opportunity to meet with several couples as well as wedding planners and florists!

Below are a few picutures of my table display. I have several new designs that I haven't had a chance to photograph for my website, so I was glad to have had the opportunity to showcase them at the bridal expo. The images below are not the best quality, they were taken with my camera phone.

The brown invitation with the orange ribbon and round buckle to the left above, as well as the green square invitation below, were one of the most popular ones at the show!

The 3x3 handcrafted gift enclosures below (to the left) were a big hit! Don't be surprised if you start seeing them around town, being sold at local Palm Springs and other desert cities flower shops!

Dio Selina Custom Designs - New Look!

Yes, Dio Selina Custom Designs has a new look! As a graphic designer, it has been unbelievably difficult for me to settle on a look and colors for my business identity. I just love color and design a little too much, and as I continue grow creatively and establish myself in the wedding industry, I feel need to "polish up" on my look to fit these changes.

My new website is up and running. I still have to change my stationery (business cards, letterhead, e-mail signature) but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up in case you see me using the old logo, then the new logo, then back to the old one in the next couple of days as I complete the transition.

My latest logo creation: Album Diva

I just wanted to share my latest logo design. It was created for Donna Kwok of Red Lantern Photography, a husband and wife wedding photography team.

Her husband, Nader Coobtee, is the lead photographer. Donna, with a background in creative arts as well (calligrapher and web designer), has spent the last few years assisting her husband as a second photographer and album designer.

Nader's stylish and artistic approach to photojournalistic photography and Donna's keen eye for detail and design aesthetic have proven to be a spectacular combination, leading to many happy couples who often times find themselves speechless with joy when they first receive their breath-taking wedding albums.

If you are a professional wedding photographer, stay tuned for AlbumDiva.com - coming soon! Yes, Donna has decided to utilize her expertise to assist other photographers with the creation of these little treasures, also known as "wedding albums"!
